Background:
On January 5, 2017, the Auburn City Council did approve Resolution #7 of 2017, appointing Managers of Auburn Community Baseball, LLC. The managers of a limited liability company are similar to a Board of Directors of any business entity. Upon consultation with the New York-Penn Professional Baseball League, Inc. and Minor League Baseball, it has been recommended that the number of Managers be reduced from eight (8) to one (1) and that the sole remaining Manager would be the City Manager who is designated for baseball transactions as the Person With Ultimate Authority.
It is further advised that the remaining persons so designated as Managers shall become members of an advisory committee for the limited liability company and the Auburn Doubledays baseball club.
